Even though this is a personal finance blog, at the heart of this blog is how our lifestyle choices (and circumstances) drive our financial choices. Lifestyle topics for single women range from dating (who should pay/go dutch/etc.) unexpected family obligations (I ended up helping my mom out), and all of those issues that affect single women financially.
- Budgeting for fun without going broke (trying to meet someone)
- Managing stress
- Health and wellness related topics
- Home related issues
And, the list goes on.
When I first started my blog I didn’t realize how much my lifestyle drove my financial choices. As I continued working on my money I realized that I liked (and wanted to do) certain things such as:
- Eat organic food
- Work for myself
- Embrace minimalism
These are all of the lifestyle related choices that I’m unapologetic about. I’m not going to change. I will always want to eat organic food, go on trips, and if I can help it-never work for anyone else ever again. I also love minimalism and having amazing experiences. But, I’ve learned how to manage what I want while using well thought out financial strategies that keep me from using debt and going broke.
In the past 5 years, I’ve learned how to manage what I want while using well thought out financial strategies that keep me from using debt and going broke. I can’t wait to share those strategies with you!
